A Message from Dawn - One of Mum/Audreys carers during her last 7 weeks 🥰 Thankyou Dawn for letting me share this ☺️🕯xx I have been thinking alot about the conversations that I had with your mum. In this job you meet new people every day but from the moment I met Audrey, her determination, tenacity and love for her family was very apparent. She had this uncanny ability to draw you into her stories and every day was a different story about challenges/memories she had remembered from the past. I was intrigued by her stories about Manchester and Putney and could have sat there for hours listening!! Audrey focused a lot on family and although she said you were all hard work(in a joking voice and laughing) she adored all of you and said how individual you all were and quite different. Your mum, I’m sure, has left an impact on many people in her life, including me. Her passion for life and no-nonsense attitude made her the strong woman she was and she continued to fight this illness only letting go when she knew her family were going to be okay. Audreys strength has filtered down to all of you and although she may now no longer be with us, each time you look at each other, you’ll see a bit of her. (Probably telling you to sort yourselves out! Lol) ❤️ I am humbled to have played a part in her care and know that she was extremely proud of each and every one of you. ❤️
