Dedicated to the memory of Audrey Gray

This site is a tribute to Audrey Gray, who was born in Fulham on November 18, 1934 until 26th August, 2020 age 85. She is much loved and will always be remembered.  Please add memories, stories or photos of anything you have you would like to share with family and friends.

This page has been set up in memory of a dear Mum, Grandma and Friend to those who knew her. She always had a story to tell! She will be very much missed by her 3 Children, 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren and all those who knew her.
Audrey had a very healthy and happy life and had many adventures both in the uk and travelling the world until her untimely death on Wednesday 26th August, 2020. She sadly died 7 weeks after diagnosis of her illness to Colon cancer which had spread to her lungs.

Audrey our Mum can now rest peacefully with our Father Roland George whom she has missed every day since his death in June 2004.
You are both sadly missed every day ... 🕯😔

It was our Mum’s wishes for donations be made in her memory to the British Lung Foundation. We would Like to thankyou in advance for any contributions you may wish to make in her memory. Our Father Roland George Gray also has a Breath of Life Fund which Mum / Audrey regularly contributed to and there has been a tree with Certificate number 1921125 designated (https://www.eforests.co.uk/mytree_a/253.htm) in his name because of this. Much Love to Mum and Your Friend xxx

A Message from Dawn - One of Mum/Audreys carers during her last 7 weeks 🥰 Thankyou Dawn for letting me share this ☺️🕯xx I have been thinking alot about the conversations that I had with your mum. In this job you meet new people every day but from the moment I met Audrey, her determination, tenacity and love for her family was very apparent. She had this uncanny ability to draw you into her stories and every day was a different story about challenges/memories she had remembered from the past. I was intrigued by her stories about Manchester and Putney and could have sat there for hours listening!! Audrey focused a lot on family and although she said you were all hard work(in a joking voice and laughing) she adored all of you and said how individual you all were and quite different. Your mum, I’m sure, has left an impact on many people in her life, including me. Her passion for life and no-nonsense attitude made her the strong woman she was and she continued to fight this illness only letting go when she knew her family were going to be okay. Audreys strength has filtered down to all of you and although she may now no longer be with us, each time you look at each other, you’ll see a bit of her. (Probably telling you to sort yourselves out! Lol) ❤️ I am humbled to have played a part in her care and know that she was extremely proud of each and every one of you. ❤️
